Aaaaahhhhhhh!

So I went to sign on to our computer earlier today and when Outlook opened something like 1/2 my “to do” list (its pretty long) popped up as red . . . weird since nothing is due till the end of the week and a lot of what is red is even later than that. Then I look closer at the computer and find that it thinks that today is October 12th. Oh! Not good!

Now panic sets in. Somehow we’ve gotten a virus since I last ran the checker (the day before) and it must have happened when DH was using it earlier in the day, right?

I start the checker again, determined to get to the bottom of this new problem . . .

While its running I go out to the kitchen and mention to DH that the computer isn’t working right and I think it has a virus. He asks what is wrong so I “splain” in to him . . . oh, he says, I may have changed the date when I was looking at dates in October earlier . . .

Aaaaaahhhhh! That is what we have a calendar in Outlook for!!!! Isn’t this fun?

Anyway, with the ususal nonsense today I managed to get all of 1 thing on that big long list from last post finished . . .

the chairs have been reserved (though DH thinks he may be able to get some elsewhere . . . we’ll see)

and DH mowed the lawn earler today and clipped the hedges. He also started fiddling with the fence that will be going up out back to fence off the play area . . . which will hopefully be done before the party as it will make the smaller guests easier to track.

I did also managed to get all but two of the pending orders I’ve had put together and even taken to the Post office. Actually, that was a stroke of luck. MIL was suppose to go pick up Pixie Dust (and brother) from school but she had to stay late and MIL really didn’t feel like going out again so I offered to go if she’d say with “the wrecking ball” known as DS. That way I could run to the PO first then go get PD and MIL could sit and play with her grandbaby. Win-win.

And I got a few minutes tonight where I finally managed to get my editing software loaded and set up so I can at least see the pages of the website and start updating them again (though it didn’t work on the page I just tried to do so more fiddling may be needed, surprise!)

Well, its quite late and DS will be up in 6-7 hours and looking for someone to play with so I’d better knock off . . .
