Is it really Saturday?

Wow, this week has just flown by! We finished up the Sale on Thursday and I’ve been working on dyeing up yarns for the past 2 days. I’ve got a bunch more to do today and I hope to have a lot of things ready to mail on Monday. So if you ordered and are waiting, I am working on it!

Mystery Kit #1 will be available until Monday. We’ve had a tremendous response to these kits and I am very grateful that so many of you have ordered them! Now I just hope that my project idea lives up to everyone’s expectations!

I’m also working on getting the next kit together. We are going to to a sock kit next, every other month. I hope to have information on the kit available by the time I mail the first Mystery kit, around October 9th. We’ll keep the sock kits available until sometime near the end of October and then mail them out early November. . . .

I’m waiting to hear back from someone from the chemical company who is helping me work out the forumla for doing the colors we use in our handpainted yarns as solids. I’m not sure exactly when we will have that worked out, but I wanted you to know we are working on it!

I haven’t had a chance to work on DH’s sweater for a few days now. I hope to be able to take a little time this evening or perhaps tomorrow to work on the sleeve some more. I’d like to have it done before we go to Rhinebeck. Oh, we are planning to go to Rhinebeck this year. Just as visitors, not with the shop. We are a ways away from ready for taking this show on the road! Nope, we are going as tourists, just to see what can be seen there. DH’s assignment is to study how booth displays are made and to work on designing one for me. We do hope to be able to do a small show or two in the spring, and perhaps another one or two in the fall next year. That is the plan, we shall have to wait to see what really happens!

We also have a couple of surprises we are working on adding to the site. I should have one of them for you sometime early this next week, the other may take a little longer. Both are very exciting and I can’t wait to be able to share them with you!

Okay, got a few things to do around here before I can go back to getting some of my “real” work done. Off to fold laundry . . .
