Drum roll please . . . .

The blanket is finished!!!!

The shower was this past Saturday and I finished weaving in the ends that morning. The blanket was a hit, my future SIL liked the idea that she could fold in and use it as a shawl or to cover while nursing as well as being for the baby . . .

I also put together a box of books, things that I remember my brother enjoying, some were his actual books from when we were kids and others were new copies of the things Mom had read to him 84,000,000 times when we were young. This way he can read them to Megan. I think Mom really liked the idea that now he gets to read them a few hundred times ;)

The shower itself was a blast, her Mom did a great job putting it together and I got to see relatives I don’t often see anymore . . . We had also invited my MIL and SIL and my neice who all came.

Isn’t she adorable? And chats a blue streak in English and Italian!

And we found out at the shower, SIL is expecting again! This one is going to have a new little brother or sister in early March next year! That means 3 new neices and/or newphews in the next 7 months or so!!!! Talk about a Baby Boom!!! Guess we know what I’ll be making a lot of!!!

Well, couple of things that need doing this morning so I’m off to it . . .
