Pop-up madness!
So now that I’m home full time my only access to the web is via the home machine & a dial-up account. As if this method weren’t slow enough already (remember, last 3 jobs were with places with very fast connections) the gosh darn thing gets about a million pop-ups. DH has upgraded to all the stuff our provider supplies that is suppose to eliminate them but I think all it does is only allow the ones that pay them or something. Very, very annoying.
Knitting:
Anyhow, I’m still plugging away on the baby blanket. Have made some progress and I’m now 1/2 way through the 3rd ball of yarn. 4 more to go!
I’m putting the scarf pattern on hold for a couple of days to see if I can’t manage to get the blanket finished. If I have yarn left when its done (I should have 3 skeins unless I lost one) then I plan to design a matching sweater. Something light and a little lacey to go with blanket pattern. I expect this will be rather quick to put together but we shall see.
Spinning:
I haven’t done any for a few days now and will only be doing some in between work on the blanket as a break from the kniting when my hands really need it . . . I’d really like to just have the blanket done and not have to worry about it.
Other stuff:
One of my “brilliant” plans for the summer is to only dry laundry on the clothes line. I’ve had to make one exception so far, when I had laundry on the line and it started raining! I’m trying to plan to only do the wash on days we aren’t expecting rain so it can hang dry. And on that note, I’ve got a load in the washer waiting to go out, and another waiting to be washed . . . and I’m going out tonight so I guess I’d better get a move on . .
Isn’t life as a housewife exciting?
Actually, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve but I’m not quite ready to unveil them . . . in the mean time, I’ll just keep dropping hints?
Can you guess what I’m up to? >(M, J and A this doesn’t mean you
