Fun, fun, fun

Well, no camera yet, but I did get to order a bunch of plain yarn and a whole lot of dyes. Both should arrive some time next week and I’m going to do a whole lot of dyeing once they do. I’ve got a few ideas for some things . . .

I’m still working on the blanket for my niece. I realized last night I need to knit about 1 skein a week if I’m to get it done in time for the shower. Looks like the sweater and other things I want to make her will have to wait until after the shower. No big deal, she isn’t due until mid-September and I have a little time after that before she’ll need winter clothes.

One of the new bunnies had a big adventure yesterday. I must have left her hutch unlatched when I fed her and she jumped out and went for a hop around the back yard. Fortunately, she didn’t run away from me when I tried to pick her up to put her back. Actually, I think she may have been a bit relieved to be back in her own room. Bunny’s big adventure! I think she was actually on the loose for a couple of hours before I found her!

Its about to rain here and I have a few things outside to “button down” before it starts so I’m off . . .
