A Few Sheep Shy of a Farm

Happy Wednesday!

I’m in class again today and we are learning about Adobe Photoshop! Too bad I still don’t have a new camera . . . .

Overall I’ve learned a bunch of new stuff in the class and I will be making lots of changes to the blog once I have a chance to play around with things, perhaps as soon as next week! Lots of the changes are going to be around making the page run more smoothly and take less memory etc. lots of new info to put into use!

Not much knitting to report . . . still working on the self stiping hat and I may do some mittens to go with it as it looks like there will be enough yarn. . . .

Class update!

I’m definately going to be making some changes to the blog after this class, learning some very intereting things about style sheets and how to make buttons . . . . . and who knows what the afternoon holds!

Good Morning!

I’m not in the office today, I’m taking a Web Publishing class at work today. Lucky me, only the computer training classes let you be at a computer all day . . .

We’ll see if they teach anything that can be applied to this page, who knows, perhaps we’ll be doing another update soon.

More Shopping!!!

Can you image, more shopping in one weekend. Yesterday M and I went to the big Target, out for lunch then to Bed, Bath and Beyond. Next we tried to go to a not so local LYS, but they aren’t open on Sundays. Oh well. Barnes and Noble was the next stop where we looked through a ton of books, sipped coffee and had cheesecake! Yum! Then we went to the other Target for the plastic containers they didn’t have at the first one and then I drove her home. It was a long day, but lots of fun.

Now I have plastic containers for the 4 fleeces that are due back from Zeilinger’s any day now! Who knows, they might even show up today! Wouldn’t that be fun?

With all the shopping and driving I didn’t actually do any knitting yesterday . . . if I have a chance, I’ll be working on the striped hat I started later today . . . .

We went shopping!

DH hates to shop, and I mean, H.A.T.E.S. to shop. We had a pile of gift certificates that we hadn’t used, some dating back to ‘95!!!! We went to the mall, a place neither of us is really fond of, and shopped at all the stores we had $ for. We have a new programable coffee maker that even grinds the beans just before brewing, how cool is that? We also got a bunch of other kitchen stuff, some clothes, books and cds. There are still some gift certificates we didn’t get to use today, but we got most of them used up.

When we got home I took a 3 hour nap! I think I must have been getting a migraine . . .

I finished the 3rd hat for the basket for next winter and cast on a 4th one in the car on the way to the mall. I should have it done in a day or two . . . otherwise no knitting progress to report.

Well, off to knit for a bit before bed. I really do think I must have been a cat in a past life, I could sleep 20 hrs a day just like Isabelle does without a problem!
