Whoo Hoo! Its Thursday!

One more day to go before I might even find time to spin again!

I am absolutely determined to do some spinning this weekend, no matter what. Its now been about a month since I did any, at this rate I’ll forget how!

I did finish J’s socks last night, finally. Just the cast on ends to weave in, but that doesn’t really count. So they are done; it only took about 6 months!

I’ve brought the Trip socks with me to work on today at lunch. I’d like to get them finished soon so I can start wearing them. That will give me 3 pairs of handknit socks to choose from. Another 3 pairs and I can wear nothing but! Won’t that be fun? Goodness knows I have more than 3 more pairs of sock yarn lying around waiting to be knit!

I have to just say, I wish I didn’t have to go to work so I could get some of this stuff done. Do you ever think about that, how much you could get done if you could just be at home and work on it? Don’t get me wrong, I have a great job. Nice Boss, good pay, reasonable hours, and friendly co-workers. I really couldn’t ask for more. Its just not what I want to be doing. DH wants to start his own business this year, which means I stay here until we know if it will work, or rather until it makes more $ than what we make combined now. Keep your fingers crossed for me. When things get to the point where I can talk more abou it I will, but for now I can’t . . .

I’m working on making lists of my projects for the coming year and wondering if it is realistic. Knowing me I’m guessing not!

Well, have to get some work done so more tomorrow.
