Ahhhh! only 14 days left!!!!

Okay, so its reallly time to get it into high gear! I didn’t get to do any knitting last night, none, not a stitch! We had my MIL’s b-day party at the inlaws. It was fun and my niece is the cutiest thing in all the land! She can sing the alphabet, count to 9 and make animal noises for the named animal, all in Italian! And she repreats everything you say, and I mean everything. And get this, she is only 19 months old! She’s going to be a holy terror by kindergarden! She had us all in stitches the whole time we were there, very funny little girl.

I did spend a few minutes looking through a few lace books, I’m pre-selecting a group of patterns for my mom to choose from for her shawl. I plan to bring them when we go for our Holiday exchange so she can pick out what she wants and I’ll be able to start spinning the yarn based on what she picks. I’m trying to narrow the choices to about 6 so it won’t be too overwhelming . . .

I think I did finally get DH to understand just how much more work I have left to do to finish the gifts, and that other things are going to have to take a back seat for a little while until I finish . . . I do believe I can get the gifts finished, I just have to be able to focus on it.

Well, back to work . . . .
