Are we there yet?

Well, its Thursday. On the one had I’m glad because I want it to be the weekend when I can get some of my stuff done, on the other its way not good since there is a lot left to do here at work.

First off let me say, I love my job and my Boss is fantastic to work for, really. The only thing is that its the kind of job where there is either very little going on (in which case this blog gets lots of updating) or everything happening at once, like now. I wouldn’t mind but I wind up not being able to keep up with stuff when there is so much happening at once and that isn’t good. oh well, guess every job has a down side somewhere, right?

DH was home last night so we decided to go out for dinner. We went someplace relatively new that we hadn’t been to before, an Italian place called Orzo. We are not your average suburban dinners and tend to rate restaurants, esp. Italian ones, on a pretty tough scale. We had the Bruschetta for an appetizer and it was pretty good, the tomatos could have been chopped smaller and a little less garlic would have been nice . . . . He had the Eggplant Parm with Ziti, overall decent but the pasta was over-cooked and the sauce a bit watery. I had the Fettuccini Alfreddo. The problem with that is I’ve had the real thing, at Alfreddo’s in Rome and after that everything else is Mac & Cheese ;) Seriously, it wasn’t bad but could have done without the mushrooms and with a bit more cheese. . . . Service was great, our waitress was bright, cheerful, attentive and friendly. We may go back again sometime and try a couple more things. . . . just for comparison purposes, of course ;)

I did get a bit of knitting done last night, worked on a gift project which is now about 60% completed . . . . and discussed the list of who else I need to knit for and when we are likely to see them so I can start prioritizing . . . . so many stitches, so little time!

Well, back to work, lots to do today!
