Yup, we got a snow squall this morning just in time for the morning commute. It never ceases to amaze me how a thin little coat of snow can cover people’s brains and render them useless! When I left the house this morning it had stopped actually snowing but the roads were coated and no one was sanding. The highway was one giant sheet of ice, accidents everywhere and people get just plain stupid when it comes to snow! I feel very lucky to have made it to work in one piece! Not just because the roads were bad, but because the driving (read: other drivers) were so bad!

Anyhow, gift projects are creeping along slowly. I did do a little more spinning last night on the angora but I have a long way to go to fill the bobbin. The plan is to fill one bobbin with angora and one with Merino and ply them together to make enough yarn for a hat for myself and one for my MIL for x-mas ( I can say that here ’cause she’s not online ;) I’m thinking of dyeing 1/2 the yarn Navy Blue and leaving the other 1/2 white and doing my hat white with a blue pattern and her hat blue with a white pattern. That is if I can ever get the yarn done!

In other news, Knit Picks is having a book sale! How timely! Guess we know where I’m headed next!

Have a great day!
