Sometimes life makes other plans

I was going to take pictures last night, but got completely side tracked helping A with a homework assignment! We were looking for pictures of Deserts and all I can say is College text books can sure come in handy! We wound up at Kinkos making color copies of pictures so she could cut them up! I had fun remembering the stacks of old National Geographics my Dad kept on hand when we were kids for just this sort of project. He used to clean up the local library sale bin annually (they sold for about 10 cents each) and kept piles of them for us to read, study and chop up as needed. Last night I was really missing that collection!

I did manage to do some cleaning and fold 5 loads of laundry, brush the bunnies and take care of the sick cat, but the fiber stuff just wasn’t happening.

Tonight I’m headed to the spinning group at Mind’s Eye Yarns, this will be my first spinning in 2 weeks! I’m going to work on one of the yarns I already have started, but I reallly want to start something else! Got to love Startitis!!!

And tomorrow is Friday, hurray!
