Yahoo!!!!!

My wool just arrived back from Zeilingers!!!!! Give you three guesses what I’ll be doing tonight!!!!

I had sent off 40# of wool to be processed and the UPS label on the box says 31 lbs. I’m assuming the box and packaging probably weight 2lbs . . . .so I got 29lbs of roving back!!!! Not too bad esp. considering how much “stuff” was in some of it. Now all I have to do is be sure to order more before I come close to running out so I can keep some in stock despite the turn around time for processing . . . .

Odd are also good that I’ll share some of this with A who has been patiently learning on some fairly nasty, slightly felted wool that I had given her to practice on . . . I think its time to upgrade her to some nicer fiber . . . .

Now I really can’t wait to get home today!!!!!

Okay so that didn’t work quite the way I planned ….

Okay so that didn’t work quite the way I planned . . . . back to the drawing boards! In the mean time, the old format is back . . . .

I’ve gotten very little knitting done the past couple of days. We had friends over last night to try to map out the timeline for our trip to Italy in October! We have a tentative agenda so I can at least give dates to work . . . actually it sounds like it will be a fun trip, and only 2 months till we leave!

Still working on Dad’s hat. I’m at about 6 inches with 3 more to go before the decreases . . . hope to have it finished before the end of the week.

I do, however, have a serious case of startitis!!! I have about 6 more things that I want to put on needles!!! Help!!! I’ll never get anything done if I just keep starting more! I really want to cast on for the Aran pocket shawl from Folk Shawls and I’m itching to start some Dobby socks . . . in bright mustard yellow and maybe purple . . . and lets not even talk about the holiday knitting yet to be done . . . and I’d like to make a lacey shawl for someone we will see while on the trip . . . way too many projects!

alrighty, off to try to fix the template for this page, wish me luck! Have a great day!
