Okay, so about the whole NYF1M Group . . . I slipped! I couldn’t resist the sales flyer from Knitpicks! bought 3 skeins of the Cherry Tree Hill Supersock (on sale for $14!!!) and it should be arriving in the mail any day now!!! I’ve been planning to shop this weekend at the Mind’s Eye sale (25% off yarn & fiber) so my shopping ban will be extended to August 1 after that! Hopefully I can stick with it!

The silkworms are getting big, I just haven’t had a chance to get more pictures up yet . . . and they are really starting to eat a lot. I just hope my trees can last! We are already talking about planting more Mulberry as shrubs around the edges of the yard for next year!

I’m almost done with the blue Trekking socks! I have about an inch to go, but . . . I’ve actually put them down for a few days to work on a 3-part, top secret project!!!! I’d tell you what it is, but then I’d have to kill you Once all 3 parts are finished and have been delivered I’ll post pictures, I just don’t want to spoil the surprise!

Oh, I did pull out all the yarn and started a list of it. I don’t actually have as much as I though I did! One whole container turned out to be fabric and patterns instead of yarn! It will still take me like 2 years to knit all of what I have (spinning fiber not included) but I did sort it into different categories. I had it stored by when I bought it, filling containers as I went. Now its sorted by what its for! Sock yarns all in 1 plastic tub, baby yarns in another, etc. Much, much easier! Now when I want to make something, if I know what kind of thing I want to make, I can see what my options are without opening all the containers! And I’ll be entering all the information about the yarn and what I had planned to make with it into my DB for my PDA so I will have a portable inventory of what I have already so I’ll know when I’m out shopping . . .
